In order to supply complete Power Generation Systems, Globex Power Group has developed many adjunct capabilities. These capabilities are both knowledge and manufacturing based.  Through a strong network of existing Strategic Teaming Partners and our engineering, procurement and quality assurance programs, Globex can supply state of the art components in fabrication (including STICK,  MIG, TIG, Submerged ARC, Robotic and Fusion welding), precision sheet metal parts, precision machining (standard as well as through       5 axis CNC), EDM and Stamping techniques, as well as numerous casting abilities.  Globex Power Group has additional strategic partnership agreements for laser cutting, tube bending and fabrication.  Our state of the art 3D printing service is a valuable tool not only for component verification but for system configuration as well.

Due to the nature of turbine overhauling and also a long time affiliation with the military, Globex Power Group can offer a wide range of specialty support tooling (SSE Tooling) capabilities required to perform many tasks, both in the industry and in specialized (military) situations.  

Shipping-Storage & Sea Containers.


Globex Power Group has the abilities to manufacture, repair, and design new shipping, storage and sea containers that are required in many engine-tool related tasks.  Our experienced engineers will be happy to work with you and your company on any type of project requiring these items.

Turbine Power Generation Systems.

   
As a unique Power Generation System, the picture below (of Turbine Powered Systems) depicts two Gas Turbine Systems (utilizing GE LM2500, Aeroderivative,  Zero-timed overhauled Engines) .  Globex Power Group was contracted to engineer, design, purchase many major components and install these custom gas turbines portable arrangements into a large USA utility corporation. These units were designed to supply Peaking Power and when complete, delivered over 40 MW (at 13.8 kV) of electricity directly into a grid in the United States.
